Obsessed by All Things Baby

October 22, 2012 by heatherss 7 Comments

Welcome ICLW! Our story in brief: I did two IUI treatments (2007, 2010) and was about to do IVF in 2011 when we got a surprise BFP right before we were meant to start. Yes I know, I am very lucky and blessed. Nicholas is now 4 months old.

This month’s PAIL theme post is “obsessed with babies”. Yip, that would be me.

– I spend all my days with a baby.

– I’ve subscribed to “Your Baby” magazine and I read it cover to cover. I have lost interest in “Fair Lady”. That doesn’t mean to say I won’t be a fair lady again, it’s just that babies are more interesting to me right now.

– My baby books are now rivaling my infertility library. I do have more time to read now too, as Nicky feeds or slumbers in my arms. (He is sleeping right against my chest right now – it is the cutest thing.)

-I love reading about other people’s babies on blogs and forums. I’ve recently found a forum called Babycentre where all the folks whose babies born in the same month congregate. We talk about all things baby and I’m fascinated.

-I subject my friends on Facebook to frequent pictures of Nicky.

-I go to as many meetings as I can where I can hang with babies and moms. These are breastfeeding meetings and stimulation classes (will post on that another day).

– Yip, my life is baby full.

Ahhh, a baby full life– how lucky are we:) My MC and Princess will be 7 months tomorrow. I am “busy” embracing every minute of every day with them and absolutely loving every second! Cheers from ICLW, Bernadette

Ahhh yes – I ditched all of my old magazine subscriptions and now get Kiwi, Parenting and Working Mother. I blog-hop lots to see what other’s experiences have been where babies/toddlers are concerned and generally it IS all about our little one 🙂

Hello from ICLW! Yep, you certainly sound obsessed … but with a cutie like that I can understand why.
