Why I’m leaving Imnica

SUBSCRIBER ANNOUNCEMENT: WHY I’M LEAVING IMNICA MAIL

1)      Not many people are actually getting my mails. I’m pretty sure that most are landing up in the spam filter. The final straw that broke the camel’s back was having my own email land up in my spam filter yet again. I understand that since I’ve changed domain names and email addresses, that might have created a problem, but this is the second time now on the same email address. I know I have lost a lot of subscribers through them.

2)      There have been changes to Gmail and I want this mail to reflect a social category rather than a promotion. If I continue to send from a group mail provider, it lands up in Promotions. One step at a time is a blog and it is social content, I’m not really promoting much.

3)      “Out with the old, in with the new” has worked on more than one occasion for me e.g. having the laparoscopy operation cleared the way for my pregnancy. So, this year is another move: from “survive and thrive” to “one step at a time” domain names, and now a new mailing list.

I have gone with a Word press plugin which will now deliver your mails called “Subscribe to Email” from wpmudev.

Please understand that I know many of you may not have heard from me in a long time due to not receiving mails from Imnica. If you aren’t really interested in reading about me and my baby (soon to be toddler), and the occasional fertility news, you are quite welcome to unsubscribe on the link at the end of every email.

If you don’t want to subscribe by email you can always connect using the social media below.

Sometimes one step at a time is all we need to do. Have a great day and I hope the move fixes your email troubles.

I love blogging, but not the technical whirly-doo surrounding it! Can be so frustrating. Good luck with the move.

As a gmail user, I like the change, but I’m with you as a blogger! There has to be a good solution out there somewhere…

Your own e-mail going to spam? Wow I see why you are upset and switching.
