Nicky’s loose tooth

May 27, 2018 by heatherss 2 Comments

We’ve reached another parenting milestone: Nicky’s first loose tooth. He has been struggling with this tooth for about two weeks now. For the last week it has been difficult for him to eat hard foods as the tooth has been hurting.

Finally today, it was so loose he could rotate it sideways. For breakfast he just had scrambled eggs.

Later this afternoon he was eating ice cream and out it came! He now has a cute gap in front.

I’ve kept this adorable pillow for a while now in his cupboard for just this occasion and the tooth went neatly in a pocket in front from Popsiebelle.com.

I folded the card and put the tooth inside for him and he was very particular about holding onto it. Another milestone for us as parents here!

Check out this video of Nicky and his rotating tooth:

Also this weekend we took part in a school function Mini Walk. I was very proud that Nicky managed to do the whole hour walk and then he had a lot of fun bouncing on a field of inflatables afterwards.

I was busy with an egg and bacon stall which did very well. I also had to make aeroplane finger biscuits which was a challenge but I did it!

Cute little Nicky. I hoe the fairy was generous with this little one. We are yet to have a lose a tooth, I am guessing it is going to happen a little later than is standard for HB.

I’m sure his time will come! Some kids loose theirs very early too, we have a 4 year old at our school that lost his first tooth.
